John McKillop | Non-Executive Chair

John McKillop brings unparalleled leadership experience in Australia's agricultural sector to Sea Forest, with an extensive history of board positions at influential organizations including Dairy Australia, Meat & Livestock Australia, Dairy Farmers Milk Cooperative, and Compass Agribusiness. His career includes management of some of Australia's largest and most prestigious cattle operations, having served in leadership roles at Stanbroke Pastoral Company and as CEO of both Hancock Agriculture and S. Kidman & Co. John currently serves as Chair of the Red Meat Advisory Council, Regional Livestock Exchange, Manor Estates Holding, Maxsil Fertilizer, and innovative agri-tech company Black Box Co.

 

Sam Elsom | CEO and Co-Founder

Sam Elsom is a passionate environmentalist with over 16 years experience in sustainability. Having founded one of Australia’s first sustainable apparel businesses to measure social and environmental impact across supply chains as well as implementing a satellite factory in India to support poor communities with income, training, clean water, and education. Sam was drawn to explore seaweed cultivation for its impressive capacity to sequester CO2 as a potential solution to reverse climate change.

Stephen J Turner | Executive Director and Co-Founder

Stephen Turner has a record of delivering large scale greenfields projects. He co-founded International Ferro Metals; a mining and smelting company which produces 4% of global ferrochrome supply and was listed on the LSE. For seven years Stephen was its CEO. He was also a founding director of South American Ferro Metals, a Brazilian iron ore producer that was listed on the ASX where he was CEO for three years. Until 2014 Stephen was also a non-executive director of Iluka, the world’s biggest producer of zircon.

Brent Wallace | Director

Brent has over 20 years of Board-level experience across environmental, FMCG, finance and technology companies. He has experience in growth strategy, brand development and consumer research. Brent was formerly Non-Executive Director and Chairman at Blackmores (ASX:BLK) and has held directorships at environmental organisations including Chair and Non-Executive Director at the Environmental Defender’s Office and Governor of the WWF.

Jules Scarlett | Director

Jules has over 25 years of commercial experience gained through senior ASX20 roles, including leadership of Telstra’s (ASX:TLS) wholesale telecommunications infrastructure business and most recently as Chief Sustainability Officer.

Jules has a background in commercial law at Minter Ellison and was formerly Non-Executive Director of the Telecommunications Industry Ombudsman. Jules currently serves as Non-Executive Director of TasPorts, NBN Co Limited and Hydro Tasmania.

Roger Millichamp | Director

Roger gained a Master's degree in Natural Sciences at Oxford University followed by an MBA and Diploma in Marketing. Roger has over 25 years International General Management experience working in Australia, China, UK, Latin America, Africa, Middle East, Eastern Europe, and Southeast Asia.

Roger recently led the Apotex business in Australia for 12 years which under his leadership became a leader in the market and developed very strong strategic partnerships in the global pharmaceutical industry.
